This ivory lace fit & flare wedding gown is absolutely perfect! A fit bodice with an elegant, beaded side swept ruching and slight flare at the top of the leg down to the modest train. The whole dress is overlaid with lace and has a gorgous corsette back.
Size 16 on the label (I was a size 12/14 pant on my wedding day) but the corsette back leaves us plenty of room to enjoy that Bachelorette party dessert! A corsette back is the perfect option when we are anxious about gaining/losing weight in those last weeks, and also for the various bust sizes on a strapless dress.
The bustle is easy to follow as my alterations lady clearly labeled where each ribbon is tied (see picture). Although it was available to me, I never had time to bustle the dress and the train was never an issue at the reception.
The dress was dry cleaned immediately after the wedding in June 2018, but I have since lost the recipt for that service. It has been stored in the cloth bag in a closet indoors since the cleaning. This dress has no residual stains, marks, or tears. All beading, hooks/eyes, and bustle ribbons are intact. It's truly like new!
